Adventure Trippin Travel Director, Simon Coward
Simon has had a passion for the outdoors since a young age. Growing up surfing the beaches of Southern Australia, he has since led tours, explored rivers, surfed, rafted, snowboarded, kayaked, and mountain biked his way through over 35 countries. This passion and eagerness to share his unique experiences are what spawned the AT Travel philosophy of "why just see it, when you can experience it".
The AT Travel crew come from all corners of the globe and inspire the AT Travel management. Whether we have worked with them or explored with them, they are all personal friends of Company Director, Simon Coward. They have been chosen for their technical and people skills, unique talents, and unparalleled local knowledge.
So, whether they are guiding you down a Class V river or cooking a stylin' meal, you are in good hands.
| Titus
You may meet Titus on any of our Kenyan expeditions. He is one of AT Travel's local raft guides. He is also a member of the Kenyan kayak team and has competed at the world slalom championships.
Titus may be your raft guide or safety kayaker on the Tana and Mathioya Rivers.
| James Savage, Kenyan Trip Leader
James was born and raised in Kenya, and aside from a short stint at university in the UK, he has lived there all his life. James has explored many of Kenya's rivers, notching up many first descents (a pinnacle in any kayaker's resume). He is also a qualified Safari guide and his bird, animal and plant knowledge is huge. James is the trip leader on most of our Kenyan expeditions.
| Luke Boddington
On our New Zealand trips, you will come to know Luke simply as "Bodds". Luke has raft guided and kayaked all over the world and has now settled back into married life in New Zealand. Spins a great yarn around the campfire and is one of the best raft guides you will find. On any of our NZ rafting trips he will be hitting the best and biggest line on the river.
| Nikki Winters
This is one of the front of the rare times you will see Nikki in front of the lens rather than behind it. She is our behind the scenes lady in Canada, and our roving photographer on tour. Nikki has an awesome eye for photos, and she might just catch you on film in a moment you won't soon forget.
