Day 1: WELCOME TO FIJI!
Meet your Fiji Adventures' guide at Nadi International Airport. He will assist you with your luggage and take you to the domestic departures terminal in time for your scenic flight to Kadavu Island (not included).
Once on Kadavu, you will be met by the staff of Matava Eco Resort, where your "water taxi" is awaiting you. An adventure in itself, skim across azure blue seas to your rainforest hideaway. Tea and "biscuits" will be served on the Matava veranda.
Enjoy a snack and drink before a fresh, welcome dinner.
Meals: D, Snacks Day 2: DIVE THE ASTROLABE (Or TRY DIVE)
The Great Astrolabe Reef is the world's fourth largest reef. If you are a certified scuba diver, enjoy a two-tank dive on this magical reef. If you are not a scuba diver - no fear! Your divemasters are awaiting, to give you a "discover scuba" course, and you will be ready to brave the challenge. See the amazing Mantas at the "Manta Magic" dive site.
If you are not interested in diving or taking a dive course, you can enjoy the day snorkeling, combined with a beach picnic.
Meals: B, L, D Day 3: BIG GAME FISHING
Depending on what's biting, you may pull up a record breaking marlin, yellowfin, wahoo, powerful mahimahi, trevally, walu and more. Out to the deep blue with your experienced boat captain, to haul in the fresh "catch of the day".
Your choice of heavy tackle big game fishing (marlin, mahimahi and tuna) or light tackle (pacific sailfish, wahoo, king mackerel, yellowfin tuna, giant trevally).
Meals: B, L, D Day 4: OVERNIGHT KAYAK
Take off after breakfast for your kayak trip to Nacomoto Village. Stop at Turtle Rock for some great snorkeling (and cooling off in warm Fijian waters) and a picnic lunch on Joma Beach. Arrive at the village to a hearty welcome and take a guided trek to the village waterfall.
In the evening, join the villagers for a traditional kava ceremony with the chief and village elders. Dinner is prepared specially for you, followed by a kava and dance party. Day 5: RETURN KAYAK
BACK "HOME". You'll kayak back to the resort, stopping along the way for snacks, snorkeling, and a bit of exploration. The azure waters lap at your craft, while you paddle your way through our warm tropical waters. Meals: B, L, D Day 6: SAIL THE WATERS - PRIVATE CHARTER
A perfect way end to a perfect itinerary. Half-day charter in and around the islands of the Kadavu chain, spotting the colorful Kadavu parrot, fruit bats and other residents of this lush island paradise.
Meals: B, L, D Day 7: DEPARTURE
Flight back to Nadi. Choice of exploring Nadi Town, or having Fiji Adventures arrange a day room for your relaxation before your flight home.
