Day 1: ARRIVAL DAY
BULA and WELCOME TO FIJI! You'll meet your guide at the airport upon arrival. He will escort you to the domestic departures terminal, where you will catch the scenic flight (not included in price) over azure seas and green islands, to Fiji's second largest island - Vanua Levu.
Once at Savusavu Airport, you'll be greeted by the happy staff of Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa, and ushered to your oceanview bure (cottage). Relax and enjoy the view!
Meals: L, D Day 2: SNORKEL EXCURSION
Snorkel trip to Split Rock. This amazing snorkel site is hidden off an unpaved road. No signs, no directions, only locals know the exact spot. Jump in and be prepared to be totally astonished at the vast numbers of fish that immediately surround you. Make sure to have the resort staff bring leftover crusts of bread, and you'll be swarmed by underwater sea life.
Meals: B, L, D Day 3: SALT RIVER KAYAK
The river runs both ways! Follow the tides as you paddle downstream (both ways!) until you get to Savusavu's panoramic Salt Lake. Paddle the coastline and follow the tides back downstream. Your indigenous guides will regale you with myths and legends of the great shark god that protects the opening to the lake.
Meals: B, L, D Day 4: EXPLORE BAT ISLAND
A kayak trip across the seas to "Bat Island" - home of the fruit bats of Savusavu. Also known as "flying foxes", they appear almost prehistoric in appearance. The island is great for exploring, and a dip in the ocean for a snorkel is a must.
Meals: B, L, D Day 5: MOUNTAIN BIKING
BIKE THE HIBISCUS HIGHWAY. Take a guided mountain biking trip down the gorgeous Hibiscus Highway, with towering coconut palms on both sides, the Pacific Ocean your ever present backdrop. Stop at the Savusavu blow holes for a treat, then bike back to your resort.

PICK YOUR ADVENTURE - choose from any of the many activities available at your doorstep - hiking the rainforest, herbal medicine walks, kayaking, snorkeling, tennis, nine-hole golf, volleyball, and more. If you want Fiji Adventures to add a full-day activity, ask them to book a Dolphin Discover Day and snorkel, or full-day waterfall trek.

RELAX, REJUVENATE, OR ADD ON. You can choose to spend the day at the Rainforest Spa, you can take advantage of the many activities offered on site, or ask Fiji Adventures to add on an adventure for you.
Meals: B, L, D Day 8: DEPARTURE
Check out of your bure, have one last "isa lei" to your Fijian "family", and take the flight back to the main island for your onwards travels.
