Overview
River & Trail Outfitters offers guided whitewater rafting, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, climbing, cycling, hiking, and trips in the historic and scenic Harpers Ferry area.
River trips and lessons take place on the Potomac and Shenandoah River as well as Antietam Creek in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. The world-renowned Appalachian Trail and C&O Canal towpath provide hikers and bikers with an escape route into the woods. In addition, River & Trail Outfitters has an excellent outdoor store featuring Perception, Dagger, Wilderness Systems, Wavesport kayaks, and Wenonah canoes. Canoe rentals, kayak rentals, tube rentals, bike rentals, and canoe and kayak instruction on the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers are also offered.
River and Trail has a 24' portable climbing wall for team building exercises, which can bring unique fun to your birthday party, festival, corporate event or other special occasion.
